Michigan

 The State of Michigan is made up of two peninsulas and, between the two, it borders four of the five Great Lakes. Located in the Midwestern United States, its capital is Lansing but its largest city is Detroit, historically a center of the automotive industry. The state is home to a number of well-known universities and other educational institutions.
