 Well-known as being the backdrop of classic film "The Wizard of Oz, Kansas is located in the center of the United States, is largely covered by prairie and is often subject to tornadoes. Agriculture is important, and the fertile land produces important crops of wheat and sunflowers. Not all of the state is rural, however; Wichita is the largest city, while Topeka is the state's capital.
