Washington

 Given its location in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, the State of Washington enjoys a relatively mild, if somewhat rainly climate. Although its capital is Olympia, its largest and perhaps best known city is Seattle. Known for its mountains, the volcano Mount St. Helens had an infamous eruption in 1980.
