Massachusetts

 Massachusetts, located in the region of New England, may be a small state, but it has great variety in terms of attractions. Cape Cod, with its small villages and sandy beaches, has long been a favorite with tourists, and Boston, the capital and largest city, has many sites of historical and cultural interest. Plymouth was one of the first British settlements in what is now the United States, and the first shots of the American Revolution were fired at Concord. The state is home to numerous important universities, and is well-known for its sports, particularly baseball, with the Red Sox having quite a passionate following.
